The start of good walk along the Ritec river which leads you towards the top of Gumfreston Hill.
This walk is not just a Sunday stroll, and serious footwear will be required. The going underfoot gets very wet and muddy, there are sleeper walk ways provided and please use them if you value your footwear. If you are going to do all of the caches along this walk we suggest that you do them from the St Florence end as the foot path from Gumfreston isn’t well marked across the fields and over grown after the metal gate past holly and ivy.
You are looking for a large 1.9L camouflaged lock and lock container with plenty of space for swaps and trackables. Not suitable for wheel chairs or buggies.
Parking could be found at the local playing field but on cricket or football fixtures might be at a premium.
