My wife is originally from and grew up in Waubay, so we thought it would be fitting to stash something at the home of the Dragon.
The treasure you are seeking is a very short, fat, cylindrical item. BYOP.
As Bilbo Baggins might have said, "It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him. Dragons may not have much real use for all their hidden caches deep into their den, but they know it down to every log book entry, especially after long possession; and the Waubay Dragon was no exception."
Use super stealth, or your "one" magic ring, to keep your invisibility from the Dragon itself, trolls, wargs or muggles.
