Birch Trail Traditional Cache
squirrel and nut: This cache has been muggled in a disgusting manner. I see no point in attempting to replace this one as the area is no longer as attractive as when this was first placed, due to chopped and burned trees and branches.
Disappointing.

Placed to be part of a circuit of the area. A small lock and lock sandwich box.
This area is a mix of old, possibly 400 years, woodland and fresh growth, mainly birch. It is a very pleasant area, but can become very muddy and boggy in wet weather and there are some steep slopes, streams and bogs about so keep children fairly close please. I guarantee dogs will find the muddy ponds - see previous logs for other caches in the area.
The cache is placed not too far off the path and can be approached from several directions. Two very nice ladies and a dog came upon me as I was placing the cache. Luckily the camera was handy so I was taking lots of photos of the woodland plants and trees as they came by, so we had a we chat about that.
