Why "Red Road"? This road isn't red!
This road used to be a metalled road of red blaes before the houses were built here and was known locally as "the red road". Parking is available in Mansfield Road by the flats or on Harlaw Road. Please do not take cars along Malleny Millgate, it is a narrow road with passing places. There is nowhere suitable for parking or turning. The bridge is NOT suitable for cars.
This cache has been placed as part of a mission for a couple of cachekins I've set free in Dundee. Their mission is to race each other to my nieces in Peebles via "Checkpoint" which is part of this series.
This cache forms part of a series I've called "The Red Road loop".
I found it difficult to log co-ords due to tree cover, so you may find your GPS sends you all over the place.
