Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Northern portion of the Washburn County Forest. Biotreker and I were looking at some maps for points of interest and came upon one listed as “The Trapper’s Cabin.” We had a great adventure trying to find it and decided to share some of that experience by setting up a series of caches.

This is the final for the Trapper’s Cabin Series (TCS) it is a stand alone cache, so you don't have to find the others, but they are on the way. To reach this cache and get back, you will have to travel well over 3 miles (and that’s if you take the most direct route). There are a couple of ways you can accomplish this: you can go in on foot or if it’s after the last Friday of May prior to Memorial Day you can take an ATV (beware: if conditions are very wet, there are areas that may challenge the use of an ATV). The difficulty level of this cache is based on hiking in on foot. NOTE: The cache is not hidden IN or ON the cabin. Congrats to the Hayward Cheezehead for FTF on all eight caches!
