Geocache Description:

This micro is hidden at a historic covered bridge not far from downtown Myrtle Creek.

Every time I visit Myrtle Creek I have to take a walk down past the covered bridge. I noticed there weren't many caches here in town so I decided to hide one!

The cache is accessible by car or on foot. Just be careful when parking. It is a low traffic area but people do drive across the bridge. Bring something to write with!

The Neal Lane Bridge is one of the shortest covered bridges in Oregon and features the only roofed span in Oregon using a kingpost truss design.

The wooden bridge is just 42 feet long, and the addition of the narrow windows make it appear even shorter.

It crosses Myrtle Creek, a stream used heavily for irrigation.

It is a beautiful area with lots of quiet streets that are perfect for an afternoon walk.
