Short distance off from a paved road. Nice area to park within a couple hundred feet at N 39 28.978 W 118 45.021. Area is rocky, so strollers or wheel chairs are out, but otherwise fairly easy access.
This cache was placed on Memorial Day, May 31, 2010. The idea for the cache was our 14-year old son's and it was placed to meet one of the requirements for earning his BSA Geocaching Merit Badge. He dedicated it to all of the deceased veteran’s of our own family, as well as to all of the other veterans who have served our country through its rich history, especially those who gave their lives for our liberty and freedom. It was as one of the requirements for earning his BSA Geocaching Merit Badge
As you sign the log, please remember the sacrifices that have been made by those who have served and died for our country and for the freedoms we all enjoy, especially those who are buried in the nearby cemetery.
