This Cache marks where the Black Canyon Trail, Little Pan Loop (west side) crosses the Agua Fria River. The Black Canyon trail is great for Mt. Biking, Hiking, and Horsebackriding. Please consider the water level of the Agua Fria which can make crossing impossible during high water. This is a beautiful desert trail, bring plenty of water, use sunblock and watch out for wildlife.
The closest trailhead is in Table Mesa and is marked by the GCWW8D Cache by Cactusart kids. Exit I17 @ Table Mesa Rd. go west to Service Rd., go North on Service Rd. to N33.59.150 W112.08.702 this is the back rd. to Lake Pleasant, go approx 1.38 miles to the trailhead. There are other jeep roads in the area. which will get you closer but 4 wheel drive is recommended.
