Memorial Trailhead Traditional Cache

You are looking for a decon container at the Memorial trailhead, located in the Nicholson Horse Trail System, just north of highway 7 near Elbe, Washington. The terrain rating is higher if the blue gate is closed.

Parking, bathrooms, places to tie up horses, great views, and a geocache. What more could you want! Your adventure begins when you turn off highway 7 and go through the blue gate located between the railroad tracks and the town gas station. You can drive to within a short walk of the cache if the gate is open. If it is closed, you can park by the gate and hike about 1.25 miles each way. Either way, this is a wonderful day use area where you can enjoy a picnic, hike, or go horseback riding on the extensive trail systems.
