This year the event will be held at
Malton Picnic Area, Lanchester, (A691 Durham to Consett road)
on Saturday 4th September,
from 1pm - 5pm (having our picnic about 3pm)
We will be having a Guess the name of the Teddy Bear a quiz and a
tombola this year, all monies raised will go to you know where.. (I
am not allowed to say on the event page)
As usual we would like to ask each team attending to bring along
something savoury and something sweet to put on the tables for
everyone to share.
If you have an special dietary needs please feel free to bring
along your own picnic.
Please remember to bring along your Teddy Bear and a chair or
blanket to sit on.
A few new caches should be set in the area for the event....you may
get wet feet!!!
The idea of this event is to just chill out and have a chat and
something to eat and drink, and maybe swap a few geocaching tales
and TBs
The park has a river, lots of open grassed space and plenty of room
for kids and dogs to run around.....newbies, oldbies, kids and dogs
are all welcome

There has been a lot of improvement work done to Malton Picnic
area in the past year notice boards and paths and the car parks,
have all been improved, there is now a second and larger car park
behind the one close to the park.
