Parking at N42 21.491 W088 33.354 Depending on which way you take, there could be a difficult hill to conquer. I gave the terrain rating a 2.5 but if you find this hill, it can be higher. Check the spoiler alert if you wish to avoid this hill! I was advised to avoid it as I have a bad knee and hip. By avoiding it, it is a relatively easy walk.
The geocache is on McHenry County Conservation District land placed by the Conservation District
• Do not place the following items in the cache: food, inappropriate, offensive, or hazardous materials.
• Absolutely no cutting of brush or other vegetation is allowed.
• Visitors must remain on designated trails.
• It is the visitor’s responsibility to orient themselves with the rules of the District site.
• Sites are open sunrise to sunset, however some gates may not be open until 8am.
• At certain times of the year, sites will close for a variety of reasons.
There is an MCCD fishing bobber for the first to find, as well as a logbook.
