Now that the Sumas Mountain Gate #2 has been moved, it's possible
to get further up this Mountain to one of the best views of our
beautiful city!
Here is a video from my PHONE of the view for those who want a
small taste.

There is a nice pull off area here for you to stop and check out
the view (PS: there is also another cache near by for you to find
on the way to ours!
Once you're done admiring the view, continue up the road towards
the trailhead.
You'll know you are there and ready to park when you see the big
gate!

Effective Friday, May 21, 2010 FVRD Parks has hired a contractor to
open and close the lower gate at Sumas Mountain on Taggart Road.
The gate is closed from 9 pm to 7 am May 1 through September 30,
and 6 pm to 7 am October 1 through April 30.
