Welcome to the ACM. Automated Cache Machine. This abandoned RR bed stretches 5 miles from Chester to Washingtonville. Along it's line you will be introduced to many different terrain types and scenes of natural beauty. We placed these caches to highlight the opportunities a straight level line 30 yards wide has to offer. No two caches are exactly the same. All the hiding spots are diverse and offer a picture of our little corner of Orange County.
There is parking at either end and it is an easy walk. If you are low on finds hit the ACM.
This culvert grabbed our attention because of the oily, omnious waters surrounding the rail bed. The hide is less then 5 feet from the trail but the coords were all over.
