In Honor of our oldest grandson, Dax, who will receive his Eagle Scout Award on Sunday June 6, 2010.
Achieving the ranks in scouting is like climbing up the highest mountain. Only a few make it to the top. Out of 100 boys that join Scouting with the BSA, 28 will continue with lifelong hobbies learned while in scouting, 8 will enter a career based on knowledge gained in scouting. One will save the life of another person with skills learned in scouting and one will save his own life. Only 2 will attain the highest rank and honor of Eagle Scout.
