moonsocket: Well. I checked on it. Looks like GZ has become a kind of "party spot", which might explain why the ammo can is disappeared. I do not plan to replace the cache at this same location; but may someday find a new can, and a new, less obvious location nearby... thanks finders! (And DNF'ers)

Geocache Description:


Whitedog Dam was built in the 1960s. a part of the construction plans included building a number of camp sites. Presumably, these sites were first built to house workers or visitors who travelled up to the dam, and had to be on-site for more than a day. Today, these sites are rarely used, but are still available for free if anyone cares to stay a night or two. People do camp here at times. If you camp, prepare for ‘wilderness’ camping. There are no services here.
The cache is an ammo box 'up the road' a little from where this photo was taken.
