Welcome to CYPD, the Port Hawkesbury Airport. The Airport has a 5000' x 150' runway and is conveniently located just outside Port Hawkesbury on the southwestern end of Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, The airport is becoming increasingly popular as a fly-in tourist destination due to its location relatively close to places of interest on Cape Breton Island & the eastern mainland of Nova Scotia. The airport is open year round & welcomes local as well as visiting pilots & passengers & the general public.
