As with all groups of cachers, there is always a friendly
competition going on. In this case, Frivlas prodded her driver,
Nvsrvyr, to try to beat the rest of us to the last cache needed in
the series: Longitude.
Guess he was going a bit too fast for the terrain and wasn't
looking, cause the next thing we saw was his Yukon perched atop a
boulder and his front wheels were over a foot off the ground,
ooops.
It took a combined effort of surveyors, engineers, and of
course, a respiratory therapist, to devise a plan, jack up the
front of the truck, put rocks under the wheels, dig under the
boulder till it rolls over then tow it out with an Xterra. The rest
is history.
Anyway, our fiasco is your gain as we placed a commemorative
cache up the hill looking down at the disaster.
