Dalsjöfors kommundel kallas även Toarp och är en av Borås Stads tio kommundelar med en folkmängd på 10 471 personer (2003-12-31) och en yta på 238 kvkm (26% av kommunen).
Toarp är beläget öster om Borås och gränsar till Ulricehamn, Tranemo och Svenljunga kommuner.
Toarp består av orterna Aplared, Dannike, Dalsjöfors, Gånghester, Målsryd, Rångedala och Äspered.
