Quick Cache and Dash.......
It's my Birthday.... and I'll cache if I want to!!!
This is an easy cache and our first cache, but I wanted to get our first out on my birthday!! The cache is slightly larger than a film canister and has been spray painted to fit in with it's surroundings. There is also a small charm for the FTF!! And yes, I do live nearby!!
This is an interesting intersection as I have been told..... Where you see the plain stretch of grass that runs by the highway this use to be a laundromat and an Ice Cream Place (like a Dairy Queen) with some apartments up above. Where you see the Coop tanks back in the line of trees is where the 2nd Jansen High School use to sit. On the other side of the trees to the north of this site is where the first High School once sat. They tore down the first High School and used some of the parts to build the second High School. The trailer home is the second home to be in that location and even though it faces Pine St. it retains the Meridian St. address.
Hope this cache was fitting for a first cache!!
