Geocache Description:

Not quite wheelchair accessible, but otherwise a very easy P & G log-only micro designed to bring you to a very cool place!

Be sure to squeeze air out of bottom part of container as you put the lid on to create a tight seal!

Lake Monocan has been host to many Wintergreen Race Team (ski racing) events and other things over the years. I used to come here as a kid and catch minnows in the lake! It is a fun place to paddle boat or canoe or just hang out on the beach, so voila! Go ahead and explore.

The cache itself is a log-only micro (BYOP) and is just past the entrance for the Lake Monocan parking lot, so it keeps you away from the front desk and stuff in case you don't plan to visit the lake itself and are only stopping by for the cache! If you do choose to stay there is definitely a cost, but I don't know it.

Watch out for poison ivy! I didn't see any when I placed the cache but it definitely grows in that area.
