Geocache Description:


Beeswax has had many uses over the years, including use in wax seals.

Seals were applied to letters and parcels to indicate whether or not the item had been opened since the seal was applied. Seals were used both to seal the item to prevent tampering, and to provide proof that the item was actually from the sender and was not a forgery.

Governments would often send letters to citizens under the governmental seal for their eyes only. These were called letters secret.

Hmmm...secret...eyes only....government agents. Sounds like a technique a secret agent might use.

You are looking for a camo lock and lock container containing the log book and a honeybee stamp.There are a few smal trade items in the container to start the cache out.

There is a small paved area of parking by the cache location and also ample parking across the road at the church. Please respect the farmer's field near the cache, You do not have cross over the fenceline into the field to to locate the cache.

PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STAMP AND INKPAD FROM THIS CACHE. This is a letterbox hybrid.
