Geocache Description:

Saturday July 10th


The Grey Sauble Conservation Authority (GSCA),MyrtleMoose and Central Ontario Geocachers (COG) invite you to an afternoon of geocaching events in Owen Sound.


2:00-4:00 Geocaching 101- "How-2-Cache"
For absolute Newbies. A tutorial and fun caching activities for brand new geocachers.

2:00-4:00 Geocaching 201- "Caching in the Park"
No tutorial... Just a bunch of brand new caches for you to find in the GSCA Arboretum, Inglis Falls Conservation Area and Harrison Park. Bring good hiking shoes and lots of drinking water.



4:30-6:30 The Big Event. Prizes. Picnic.
BYOfood for a COG Picnic Party in the Arboretum.
Environment Canada has donated a number of special watershed geocoins as prizes at this event.


A quick update....
It looks like the weather is going to be perfect. And it looks like we're going to have a good turn-out. In fact we're going to have more people than I anticipated! So... please pack a lawn-chair along with your picnic!!
