arewethereyet??: It passed me by that this cache hadn't been found for so long. Given previous hit rates before the dnfs 2021 onwards, it certainly sounds missing. I've decided to archive this cache with thanks to all those who attempted it.

Geocache Description:


This is the only remaining cache from a short series that was an out and back walk that took you across delightful and quiet fields to (and ultimately just beyond) Papillon Hall.

Papillon Hall has a very dark history which can be read in full in the cache notes to "The Curse of Papillon Hall - the Final".

This cache is a 35mm film canister hidden in a tree to get you in the mood for the upcoming caches.... And to help your search, concentrate on the trees on the RIGHT ;-) and you don't need to go down as far as the end at all, the cache is only perhaps 3-4m away from the stile.
