Geocache Description:

A regular size lock and lock hidden in the Al Sabo Land Preserve in a traditional manner.

Taking a clue from the Old School series, I have started a similar series of my own. My first Back to Basics was hidden in Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery (see link) a couple of years ago. No tricky puzzles, no nanos, just small and regular size caches that kids, newbies, and seasoned cachers alike will enjoy finding. This one is on the eastern end of Al Sabo and therefore is a significant hike. That accounts for the terrain rating of 2.5. Once you near the cache, there is about 150 feet of easy bushwhacking required. The cache is stocked with toys and family friendly goodies. Use the enclosed waypoint for the only legal parking for Al Sabo. Happy "Basics" hunting. .
