Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The current Howick Recreation Centre and Community buildings sprouted in this area from the mid 1970s.
To help you find this R & R (rest and recreation) cache you need to “exercise” in the area. Try and blend in with all the fitness fanatics, Kauri Kids, bridge players, theatre/opera goers, photographers, scouts, and Southside Streeters who use the facilities in this area while you find your coordinate numbers.
Rest yourself or your car near the published coordinates, then Recreate to find WP1 and the final. WP1 answers are in plain sight around the Recreation Centre area and there is no need to enter any buildings/premises. Once you are done recreating, then you can rest.
Warning: there is a CCTV camera in the carpark, so blending in is necessary.
