Small waterproof container holding a notebook, some small pieces of paper for origami, just off the beaten track. This and three others form a nice walk taking no more than an hour at a leisurely pace. Co-ordinates may be a little off due to tree cover.
Hurst Grange Park has a car park, off Hill Road, entrance at N 44.772, W 43.350, not far from No. 3 cache or you can use a side street nearby, Hollywood Avenue has plenty of space, just put PR1 9AD in your sat nav, this is closest to No. 1. Opposite Hollywood Avenue is a public footpath that leads to the park. This park is dog friendly and a nice walk, there are a few fishing ponds and a play park for the children, once a year the park is used for Penwortham Gala, usually held mid June which brings many muggles!
