As it's name suggests this really is a bank by a tank.
Unlike all the others, ours is a friendly bank, you put money in, and you take money out. There are no fees, no charges and we take no bonuses at the end of the financial year!
PLEASE EXCHANGE ONLY FOREIGN CURRENCY. COINS OR NOTES ACCEPTED.
RAF Manby operated from 1938 to 1974. During that time it served as a bomb disposal unit, engineer training centre, demolitions base, flight training and in it's later years as a college of air warfare.
Today it has various uses, including East Lindsey District Council, Manby Motorplex, light industry, grain storage and several club huts.
Signs point out that this is private property. THERE IS NO NEED TO ENTER THE AIRFIELD.
Manby airfield even has it's own resident ghost, unsurprisingly a WW2 airman and some have heard the drone of bombers. Apparently the best place for a spirited appearance is the long abandoned control tower.
