This can be done as a stand alone drive by cache or part of a circular walk. The cache is not a clip box. Please take your own pen.
The circular walk goes through the nature reserve of Colden Clough. Please stick to the footpaths and be mindful that this is a nature reserve. We would like to thank CMBC for giving their permission for caches to be put in this area. The caches on the circular walk are: Crown Point Lumb Bank Chimney Clapper Bridge Causey Holly Bush Here we have one of the many mill chimneys in this valley. The mills here used to do cotton spinning. Note the circular remains of the gas works. From here the path goes past the mill dams, their gates and weirs.
