Geocache Description:

Mosaic Floor at Shevai Tzion beach

Geocaches normally lead us to places we wouldn't have known about otherwise. This is the first time that we found one of these hidden places while looking for a good location to hide this cache.

We were first impressed by the wild Statice "Adad" flowers in bloom and then suddenly found ourselves looking at an ancient mosaic floor of a Byzantime Church. (visit link)

There is a main entrance to this archeological site which looks like it is always open, but if not, look for another entrance at the street side.

We recommend doing this cache together with the "Eternity by the Sea" cache GC29RHC and walk along the new Nahariya promenade.
