Geocache Description:

A small cliplock inside a black pencil case to aid camouflage. Please ensure you return the cache into its case, and the case into its hide.

Ever wondered why you can smell Marmite whilst you drive through Menstrie? At times the smell manages to travel over 8 miles to Tillicoultry, if the meterological conditions are right.

The answer lies in the yeast production plant, which provides source compounds for the brewing and distilling industries.

Notice the blackening of the trees around the cache location. This is the same fungus that thrives around whisky distilleries.

Additional: Despite the container and the smell, actual Marmite is made in England, and is nothing to do with this plant!
