This cache is placed on semi-private property with permission (granted by a board member of the club).
Clinton Country Club was recently sold and the stockholders decided to purchase the Valley Oaks golf course. Thus, the name of the new course, Clinton Country Club at the Oaks.
In my youth, I spent a lot of time at CCC. It is definitely an adjustment to say goodbye to CCC and move over to the new location at Valley Oaks. CCC used to be a private club, but CCC at the Oaks is semi private. Private days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I would suggest that you not chase this cache on those days. I also would suggest that you go ahead and stop your geo-mobile in the parking lot instead of parking on the nearby road. You are looking for a lock-and-lock container.
Tree cover will be an issue. I used two GPSr's, averaging the waypoint for five minutes and each returned a waypoint within .001 of each other. Let me know if you think the coordinates need to be adjusted.
