Geocache Description:


Blue yellow blue yellow red red blue. That is part of the "Color" song by Ludwig Von Drake. As I was placing this cache the trail colors going back and forth reminded me of the trip with my wife and two daughters 1500 miles in a car down to Florida. Heard that color song all the way down and back. Good times [;(] This one's a nice easy walk in on the path in Cedar Swamp Trail. Cache is located 100 feet off the blue path. Cache is a small ammo can located .3 miles from the parking area at the Cedar Swamp Trail Sign. A short path (About 60 feet) will put you on the "Blue Path". Half of this is a wide flat path but the last half gets narrow and crosses a small swampy area in the middle. Stay on the blue path or you'll need water proof boots.The entire path has a fair amount of mud in the spring and fall but short "Detour" paths will get you around most without a problem. The last part of the path is high and dry. I found lots of deer sign here so a quite approach could see some white tails saying hello. The cache is located roughly 100 feet off the trail. Only a little bushwacking will be needed. After finding there was only one cache in this area I thought it was a great spot for a couple more. This is the second of two I have placed here. Original contents of the cache are: Silver carabiner flashlight, Twist pen/carabiner/scratch game, antibacterial hand sanitizer pen, black swivel lanyard clip, tissues, playing cards, cutter sport insect repelent packets, Big butterfly mobile, shower cap, safety pin headdress, dream glow glow stick, Blues clues TB and a disposable camera. Please take a minute to take a picture of yourself and place the camera back in the cache. Hope you enjoy the trail and the hunt!
