News Flash! The Training Camp series of caches will publish either the night before or first thing the morning of the GeoOlympics. Those of you who have not spent time training for this event will surely need this series to prepare. Check it out - 10 new logable caches. Each of the Training Camp caches contains either a code word or a "take one" item. You'll need these to participate in several drawings at the 5th Annual GeoOlympics. (visit link) Download this document to find out what you need to collect at each cache. Many forgettable items can be yours! These drawings will be held mid day and so you will want to grab these caches before the GeoOlympics begin. A huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Muddy Frogs for their help putting together this series.

The time has come to announce the time and date of the 5th Annual Geo Olympics! This years festivities will be held at Lively Park In Springfield OR. 12:00 PM till 5:00PM on Sunday August 29th.
The same great events you have grown to love at new location. Start your training today.
New this year is the Creative Geocache Container Contest.
Entrants will be judged on technical difficulty as well as artistic interpretation.
Bring us your best and go home with a prize.
Heres the run down so far.
12:00 - Opening ceremonies followed by a potluck with drinks and hot dogs provided by the Geo Olympic Committee. Bring your favorite picnic dish to share with the Olympic Committee.
12:00 - Start of the decachalon.
1:00 - Ammocan Toss
2:30 - 5 Meter Micro Cache Dash
4:00 - Silent Auction closes
4:30 - Closing ceremony and Medal presentation.
