Rusty Traditional Cache

Located in the Big River Management Area. Be sure to wear 200sq. In. of flourescent orange during hunting season. Cache is a regular lock and lock container that has been painted.
Out hiking on a fine weekend day and needed to lighten my load so I decided to hide a cache I had in my pack. Rusty lives up to his name. Make sure your up to date on your tetnus shot! Be careful removing the container from it's hiding spot. Be sure to rehide well so that it doesn't end up getting used as target practice.
The BRMA is one of my favorite places to hike with my dogs. On a Saturday afternoon the parking lot had about a dozen cars but after almost 5 hours of hiking I never saw another person.
Check out RI DEM's website for more information including regulations for hunting season and maps.
Cache contains a log and some trade items. Good luck hunting and happy caching!
UPDATE: It seems the tow truck finally came and took Rusty away. I have not been to the cache site but from the posts it seems that rusty lives on in the hearts of geocachers everywhere. The cache seems to have found a new home so if anybody has some updated coords or a new hint please let me know. Thanks and happy caching!
