Annually, the Tulameen Turtles host a CITO event near this location to help the BC 4 Wheel Drive Association with their annual Stave Lake Clean Up.
In 2010, the BC 4 Wheel Drive Association held their 8th Annual Stave Lake Clean Up and the Tulameen Turtles Held their 2nd Annual Stave Lake CITO.
In 2009, over 4,000 kg of garbage and 2,000 tonnes of recycled material were hauled out of the area.
In 2010, over 22,260 kg of garbage was removed.
This cache is dedicated to all of those geocachers who spend their time at CITO events and doing their own personal CITOing while out geocaching. Your time spent cleaning up after other people, makes all of our geocaching experiences more pleasant.
