Spirit Walker Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

WestcoastWetpaws: This one was really a lot of fun. People from all over the world have signed the logs. The security guards at the Marina were really enjoying meeting folks. and we helped bring awareness to the city to improve the cross walks in the area, with so many tourists coming to the waterfront. The Spirit Trail is really a beautiful walk across the north shore. Perhaps someday, when the stage is rebuild or something else is a permanent fixture, I will return to this location and place a new cache. For now, the stage is gone, the cache missing and the area fenced off for construction.......... so for now, we close the doors. Until next time.
Stay safe and Happy caching.

Geocache Description:

City residents and visitors alike will one day be able to hike or bike from one end of the North Shore to the other. Visit a work in progress..... along the waterfront to the marina...

Highly muggled area, go stealth if need too please!! Placed with permission. (Yes, we had to tell Security about it! So if you get a nod or a smile. It's all good. Cacher's can come and go in peace.) Muggles everywhere! - placed where there's great opportunity for stealth practice! Shop at the Key - Stroll through Waterfront Park - head over towards the Marina..... A beautiful City walk. Blessed with many parks and shops along the way! There are other cache's in the area that lead you to some of the great points and features. This is in the newest portion in the "big plan" so far. As the city connects the waterfront with trails, cacher's connect the trails with caches! This cache is placed just past the "entrance" point of First Nation shorelands, Through this portion of the trail history is celebrated with many beautiful Native Art works. A grand entrance and several pieces at each resting point. You'll want to see them all! As I stated, The Spirit Trail is a work in progress to connect the North Shore from one end to the other with West Vancouver.... Visit the link to learn more of the Spirit Trail project ! http://www.cnv.org/server.aspx?c=3&i=478 As you walk along to enjoy the trail and the various art pieces. Or admire the boats - looking Off toward the mountains you'll see the steeples of a small church located on the Mission Reserve. Next to the church is a garden with a little pond. It's a nice stroll, not far from the trail. It's been there for quite some time so the growth is well developed. Gardening fancier's might appreciate it. :) I personally suggest morning to mid-day hunts, so you can take advantage of the good food near-by! Depending on the season, there may be other interests or attractions happening at the time of your visit.! The cache itself is a Small black lock and lock with logbook - pen - and a few traders? Something special for the first to find (of course!) and a great place to send a couple travel bugs off !! Congrads to ~ MrGigabyte (9096 found) FTF !
