This cache is located within the John C. and Mariana Jones/Hungryland. Visitors should be aware of seasonal hunting and must abide by all area regulations while on the area. Please visit http://myfwc.com/recreation/list.html for more information. There is a small access Gravel/Dirt Parking area (small cars can make it in) on the East side of County Road 711. The path starts right at the parking area and there is a map right in the parking lot.
While walking out here to place the cache I had a fly that would NOT leave me alone. It kept following me the entire way through the trail and annoying me...hence the name Lord of the Annoying Fly. My friend who was with me didn't have any flies annoying him so hopefully you will share his fate on the trail.
I hope to bring more visitors out to this beautiful area. This is a nicely kept trail on the remnants of an old road that used to be out there. It stays dry after heavy rains and there is usually water on either side of it. Please use caution and watch out for Poison Ivy as there is some of it in the area of the cache.
This cache is a small metal container. There's a log but no writing utensil...so BRING YOUR OWN PEN/PENCIL.
