Geocache Description:

Garnet Dimond 100 Year Memorial Walkway 1910-2010
Small 200 ml cache with log and pencil
Room for trackables.

Along part of the newly formed Waitomo Walkway which starts and the Village and ends at the Ruakiri Caves site
Follow the trail along from the trailhead shown on map.
Under the roadbridge and along the river
Through limestone formations and large trees
Level gravel path, may have surface flooding after rain.

A Blue Clue

Just over the trolls hide
And up to the side
Water runs free from the wall
A Giant here rises up and guards the cache below
The Solo one has the prize within its ledges
But be wary and quiet
As not to awaken the Giant,and
Shhhhhhhhh!! Trolls are about as well.
