Geocache Description:

This cache is placed along the banks of the Clyde on a good path, suitable for walking or cycling. Parking available at old ferry house.
This is quite an impressive tree commanding views over the Clyde, the Erskine Bridge and the old Erskine Hospital building (now a hotel).

During the winter months you may see migratory birds on the mudflats.

Cache is 35 mm container - bring own pen.

Thanks to SNH for the following advice regarding placement of this cache.
"Please note that the sand and mudflats at the edge of the Clyde form part of the Inner Clyde Special Protection Area, which has been designated to protect the internationally important population of migratory birds which feeds and roosts there during the winter months. We would therefore request that all dogs be kept on a leash in this area during the months of September to April inclusive. Many thanks."
