squirrel and nut: This one did remarkably well given its location. In full view but unnoticed unless looking carefully.
Still - time up.

Cache is a small lock and lock container in a camo bag.
Mid Calder is a small village near the sprawling New Town of Livingston. At certain times it may be possibly to park in the village near this cache, or it can be included in a circuit of caches in the area, starting from the car park at Oakbank on the A71. It is on the route from GC29DOH, Near the Riverside to GC269DK, Calderwood.
Take care on the busy road if crossing. Entrance to under the bridge can be found at N55 53.554 W003 28.625. The terrain can be challenging in wet or freezing weather so please wear appropriate footwear. There is a fairly busy road to cross near this cache so children and dogs should be kept close.
These coordinates are not the exact location of the cache - the GPS is not too reliable under the bridge. This takes you to a lovely bed of nettles. Follow the clue when you get there. (It is not down by the river!)
The path continues under the bridge and on to two footbridges, which lead towards Calderwood GC269DK
and other caches.
Watch out for Holly near the cache.
