Geocache Description:


This is a Culture Cache so please no trading. You are looking for a regular size plastic container. Inside you will find a Log Book, Dream Catchers, Beads and Beadwork, a miniature Birch Bark Canoe, miniature Moccasions, a wood carving of an Owl, a Peace Pipe and more. Several hundred meters to the back is the Salmon River where a group of Mic Macs from Big Cove and other communities canoed from Boston USA to Big Cove NB in the early 80's. They travelled along the coast of the Eastern Seaboard up to Fundy and eventually to the Salmon River. They then portaged to the Richibucto River and on to Big Cove. The trip took several months to complete. What an accomplishment!
