*gln: ### ARCHIVING UNMAINTAINED CACHE ###

Greetings Old Professor,

Looks like our timing is off, and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't seen any maintenance plan posted here, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed, and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Glenn

Geocache Description:

This is a small bottle with enough room for the log and a few small trade items. Bring your own pencil.

The St. Andrews Catholic Church was built in 1845. Three acres of land were donated to the Church, and that land is now the cemetery. Information from the Moniteau Co. web site indicates that one of the oldest graves is John Veulman in January 1853. There are many many markers that tell of the early residents of Tipton. Please feel free to enter the cemetery and tour the graves and study the stones.. St. Andrews Church building is located at the intersection of Osage and Cooper Streets in downtown Tipton with its own school and a very large congregation.
Please be reverent in the area and if you happen by during a funeral, please come back at a later time.
The cache is located on the St. Andrews Cemetery grounds. It is a Multi-Cache with three stages. All the stages are with in easy walking distance, or you can drive if you so desire. The listed coordinates will take you to the first stage and there you will find a small container with the coordinates of the second stage (bring a pencil to write them down). At the second stage you will again be given the coordinates to the third and final location and cache. There is room for the log and a few small trade items. Bring your own pencil.. This should be be relatively quick and easy to figure out and to find, thus racking up another "Smiley". I feel that this is Handicapped and Wheelchair accessible with a little assistance.
Thanks to Mr. Jack Knipp, an overseer at the cemetery for permission to place the cache.
