Welcome to the NEW W Westar Dr connector road. Approach from the east facing sidewalk, just southwest of the GPS coordinates. The grade is fairly steep, you may want wear good hiking boats and take a flashlight at night.
This newly constructed road, completes Westar drive and connects S Estrella Pkwy with S San Miguel. Opened in May of 2010. This road has a 100'+ change in elevation and offers some very nice views of the Estrella communities.
Climbing from the road level to the cache. Approaching from the lowest level of the grade, SW of the GPS coordinates will provide you with a fairly easy climb to the top of the hill. Please watch for loose rock.
Once your on top of the hill, you should have a nice view of the back side of the Golf Course and the Estrella Communities.
The cache contains a Thumb Drive, a necklace, a toy dinosaur and a few glass marbles. Please remember to sign the log and leave something if you take something.
