This cache was hidden near the junction of the Whipsnake and Windmill trails. Nothing too much too worry about, except a little extra exertion is required to get to the cache. Heavy tree cover may make your GPS jump. I grabbed multiple points to make this cache as accurate as possible. Hidden on opening day of the Fernandez Ranch Open Space purchased and preserved by the Muir Heritage Land Trust (visit link)
The Fernandez Ranch Open Space is accessed by taking Christie Road from Highway 4 east bound only just a few miles east of Hercules. Take a hard right just before the railroad undercrossing. Use extra caution when entering and existing Highway 4, this is an obviously very dangerous intersection.
