Geocache Description:

A micro cache located at the end of a rail line. Should make for a
quick park and grab, or enjoy the bike path and take a nice walk.

This cache is located at the end of the rails in Montana City. This
rail line use to run all the way to Butte MT, but now just serves
as a turn around spur for the Ash Grove Plant. The Tracks end at
McClellan Creek Road and the cache is just about three feet off of
the Montana City Bike Path. Some one in a Wheel chair should be
able to make the grab. You don't need to worry about any trains
here, it can't make it this far, the "Derail Point" is 18 tenths of
a mile down the tracks (look for the bright orange thing on the
tracks in the distance). A Derail point is a special device
attached to one of the rails and is meant to knock a train off the
tracks before reaching the end of the line, and in this case the
houses that are now along the road which use to be the rail bed.
Please do not walk on the tracks once the fence begins and the Bike
Path leaves the tracks as after the fence may be trespassing on the
rail line.
