Cache is hidden at a beautiful park in North Nanaimo. You may want to bring a geokid to play at the playground as a distraction for muggles. Street parking is available, ride your bike or take the bus as it stops nearby.
Third in a series of caches intended to show you good places for seeing birds and wildlife while hunting for a cache. Many caches are already hidden at great locations for viewing wildlife but I'm trying to find more.
At this urban park I have seen many birds such as flickers, quails, chickadees, sparrows, nuthatches, crows, robins, thrushes, hummingbirds and bald eagles soaring in the sky. My ChickadeeRose helped picked this location and every time we visit this park, there are many deer hanging out in the greenspace or napping under the trees. They are beautiful to watch but please give them their space.
This micro cache is located within 4 metres of the posted coordinates. Please leave the top attached to its hiding spot.
Take time to have a swing and enjoy the distant view of the ocean through the surrounding tall majestic trees. Happy caching!
