uccacher: Thanks to everyone who attended. Hopefully it will happen again next year. Mrs.uccacher and I are in charge of the whole shebang next year but I agreed to do it with the stipulation that I needed to be free for 3 hours on Friday night.

Geocache Description:

Friday, July 9, 2010 from 7:00pm until 10:00pm. Sorry but no pets, alcohol or smoking are allowed on the property where the event is being held.

I know a lot of people prefer weeknight events so that they don't interfere with weekend caching plans. I will be hosting Union City's 1st caching event and will be placing at least 10 new permanant caches around the Union City area just in time for this event.

Bring your bugs and coins for either exchange or discovery. There will also be several door prizes to be given away.

Bring a lawn chair so you can sit around and talk cache at the Geocaching event tent or take a short walk to the gazebo to listen to the live music of The Gathering at French Creek that's being held at the same general location. There will also be cannon firings and a spectacular fireworks display which many think is the best in the area. Best of all every one of those activities are free!!!
