Производството му започва през 1970 г. и приключва в средата на 80-те години с над 5000 произведени екземпляра. Изтеглен е от експлоатация в Русия и повечето държави от бившия Варшавски договор, но остава в експлоатация в много държави от Третия свят. МиГ-23БН — Модификация на МиГ-23Б, появила се през 1973 г. Двигателят е Р-29-300, монтирано е по-съвършено радиоелектронно оборудване. Тази модификация се произвежда основно за износ. Построени са 450 машини, само малка част от които постъпват в съветските ВВС. Известно количество снети от въоръжение МиГ-23М са преработени във вариант МиГ-23БН. The cache is a 35 mm micro container, hidden in the sole remaining MIG-23BN in Cheshnegirovo village (Plovdiv district), welcoming travelers to the international route E80 at the entrance of the village. Information about the airplane MiG-23 (Russian: Mikoyan & Gurevich MiG 23 NATO name: Flogger) is a Soviet fighter third generation. It was the first Soviet fighter aircraft using rockets class air-air with an average distance of action infect targets beyond the limits of visual detection. Production began in 1970 and ended in mid-80's with over 5000 copies produced. It was withdrawn from service in Russia and most countries of the former Warsaw Pact, but remains in operation in many Third World countries. MiG-23BN - Modification of MiG-23B, appeared in 1973 with engine "P-29-300" fitted in perfectly Electronic equipment. This modification is produced mainly for export. 450 machines were built, only a small part of going to the Soviet Air Force. A quantity of weapons collected from the MiG-23M is a processed version in the MiG-23BN.

NOTE: Some stealth is requires when looking for this cache! Be careful not to be seen by muggles, as very close to the plane there is a gas station, and on the other side of the main road there are stalls with traders and rather often of this place stops a police patrol.
