in our disclaimer.
This is a puzzle cache. You
can go to the posted coordinates if you want, but you'll need to
bring a boat, and the cache isn't there.
You're looking for a small L&L at a scenic spot near Wicomico
Shores.
This satellite image shows the general area of the hide. It is
updated at twenty minute intervals. Just after each update, the
cache coordinates will appear for 2 seconds in the center
of the image.
The numbers are high contrast but kind of small. You will need to
refresh your browser repeatedly in order to capture the image
update with the coordinates showing.
Sorry, but you will not be able to solve the puzzle at night. The
image link doesn't update in the dark (for obvious reasons) and we
were unable to figure out how to flash the coordinates without an
incoming update signal (believe us, we really tried).
We could tell you the exact time of the hour at which the
updates occur, but that would make it easier, and besides, nobody's
clock is exactly the same, so it might not even help you anyway
(actually, the Naval Observatory does know the exact time, and M is
in the Navy, so...is this a clue?). We will tell you that the
updates are not 0, 20 and 40 minutes after the hour (that
would have been our first guess too).
Please DO NOT use the hint unless you are absolutely confounded.
This is a unique puzzle and we're pretty proud of it, so we'd like
for you to try a while first.
Eye in the Sky is part of the Cache-INGO! challenge (GC24MZC)
but may be found and logged independently.
