Geocache Description:

Many Moons Ago.....

A lone Indian was passing by this spot riding a dark brown buffalo with white spots. The Indian saw the buffalo's ears perk to the left and he knew that the buffalo had heard something in the bushes. The Indian climbed off the buffalo to walk towards the bushes. He saw a Ceramic Rabbit hiding in the bushes and asked the Ceramic Rabbit what he was doing in there.

The Rabbit said, "Im hiding in here until you get close enough and then I'm going to gobble you up."

The Indian said to the Ceramic Rabbit, "You don't want to gobble me up. I'm old and wormy, You'll get sick from eating me."

The Rabbit said, "Then I'll swallow up your buffalo."

The Indian said, "You don't want to swallow my buffalo. He's too hairy, you'll get hairballs just like a house cat."

"What shall I eat then?" said the Ceramic Rabbit.

The Indian handed the Ceramic Rabbit a carrot and said, "Try This. It's a carrot and they taste very good."

The Ceramic Rabbit took the carrot, sniffed it. Took a nibble, then another nibble. Soon the carrot was all gone.

"That was very good." said the Ceramic Rabbit. "Can I have more."

The Indian handed the Ceramic Rabbit a basket full of carrots and the Ceramic Rabbit began to eat.

The Indian said, "If you will stop eating people and buffalo, I will bring you a basket of carrots every full moon for the rest of your years."

The Rabbit said, "OK, the deal is done. These are very good, I will tell my friends about them and we will all stop eating people and buffalo."

So from that point on, the Indian brought the Ceramic Rabbit a basket of carrots every full moon and the Ceramic Rabbit was very happy.

It is said to this day, that if you wait on this spot durring a full moon, you will see the Indian delivering a basket of carrots to the Ceramic Rabbit.

The End.
